When I take on a new business one of my first questions is; what is your exit strategy? I think this is an important question for all owners of businesses wherever they are in their business lives.

I used to agree with this saying, if something is working why change it. However over the last 10 years I have had to change my opinion. I have seen so many industries change over the last 5 years.

I have been looking into improving my marketing and one of the first questions the marketing people ask is “what is your elevator pitch?”. I was thinking about it and how this applies to me and then I thought I should turn around the question and ask my clients what is their business plan.
